| Bio: | Jeanne-Antoinette Poisson, Marquise de Pompadour, called Reinette. Born in 1721. Met the man called the Doctor in 1727, when he rescued her from the monsters under her bed. They met again in 1740. Married Charles-Guillaume Le Normant d'Étiolles in 1941. They had two children, a son who did not reach his first birthday and a daughter, called "Fanfan". In February 1945 she was attacked by mechanical men, rescued by the Doctor, and danced with the King, Louis XV of France. The last time she saw the Doctor was 1758, after he rescued her from the mechanical men on a white horse. In 1760, aged 38, she left Versailles to search for the Doctor. In circumstances very much beyond her understanding, she found herself in Margate, at the Seaside Cafe.
